This project was an on site research project where we visited Chamba (Himachal Pradesh) and studied the metal craft in Chamba focusing majorly on Chamba Thaal. The research also involved understanding the culture and traditions of Chamba. The final outcome of this research was the creation of a detailed document, which serves as a tool to both record and promote the history and current practice of the craft. The name of the document 'Nazrana' comes from the practice of offering Chamba Thaal in weddings as 'Shagun'.
